Hitting Enter in messages automatically sends the message. You have to hit Shift+Enter to change to a new line. I would love the option to change hitting Enter as being the new line and have to hit the send button. I send messages early all the time by mistake and so do my clients.
Maybe this is already a feature and I just can’t find the option.

I totally understand how frustrating it can be to send a message before you’re ready.
Right now, pressing Enter will send a message, and Shift + Enter creates a new line. This follows the same pattern used in tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Facebook Messenger on desktop.
On most mobile devices, the Shift key may appear as the caps/arrow key when adding a line break.
At the moment, there isn’t a setting to customize this behavior, but I’m happy to log this as a feature request for our product team. We definitely appreciate the feedback - especially if it’s impacting both you and your clients!
