Hi, I’m a new user so apologies if I’ve missed the option. Some of the forms I’ve been designing are quite long (e.g. brand strategy templates) and I can’t see an option for the client (company) to enter some data, save what they’ve done, and revisit the form at a later date to complete and send it. To get around this, I’ve been breaking the templates into several shorter forms but it’s still not the right solution.
Hi @Neil_Hillyard Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to Assembly!
Great question, you’re not missing anything. Forms in Assembly do auto-save as clients fill them out, but drafts are stored locally on the same browser and device. This means clients can leave and return later, as long as they use the same browser and device and remain logged in.
Please note that if a client logs out, their draft will be cleared and cannot be restored. As long as they stay logged in and use the same browser and device, their progress will be saved.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. We’re always here to help! ![]()
