One of the things Im noticing as we add clients is that it can be pretty difficult to navigate at times. While I love the simplicity of Assembly there is a lack of “connectedness” between the different areas. One of these is simply being able to quickly access all you need to know for a client from the messages. I believe it would be very helpful (and probably a quick fix) to have the client names (ie Acme Inc in screenshot) hyperlinked to that clients “CRM” page. It is just unnecessary to have to click over to the CRM tab and then search for the client and then look for what you need to find. A shortcut would be very helpful here.
One step above that would be creating a dropdown next to the client name in the top of messages. For us (and I think others) messages are where everything “Starts” with client interaction in assembly so naturally there should be quick navigation from here to everything you need. I would suggest a dropdown next to the client name in the portal that shows all of the Apps connected to that account which you can click to quickly direct you to the respective apps.
Additionally if you are starting from the CRM there should be some sort of notification that tells you if there is an open message or new notification for that client. Again, it is much more natural to start from messages instead of the CRM but this would help as well.
Lastly, adding a latest activity date/time to the people and companies in the CRM tab would be very helpful. I would like to know who is actually using the portal and who isnt so I can remove people who dont go on for months.
