Copilot is now Assembly

We recently rebranded from Copilot to Assembly. You can read about the reason for the name change on our launch blogpost. You will start seeing our branding change across various surfaces. Our name has changed, but our mission hasn’t: helping you deliver customer experiences that stand out for your brand.

Things that have changed

The dashboard for you and your internal team is now on dashboard.assembly.com instead of dashboard.copilot.app. If you go to the old URL, you will be redirected, and you may have to log in again.

Things that have not changed

Your client’s experience remains the same. If you have a custom domain for your portal, it works just like before. If you don’t, and your portal is on a .copilot.app URL, that remains the same as well. In all scenarios, the client experience remains unchanged and your clients don’t have to log in again.

New features on Assembly

Internal Chat

On client/company details pages, you can now communicate and collaborate with your internal team. As part of this update, you’ll notice that the client/company details pages have been completely redesigned.

Assembly Assistant

We’re rolling out an early beta of our AI Assistant, and it’s available for free on all plans. You can tag the assistant on the ‘Internal Chat’ tab on client and company details pages. Learn more about Assembly Assistant here.

Company custom fields

You can now create custom fields for companies in the same way that you previously could for clients.

Are we sure this rebrand is a good idea? I am assuming you left copilot because of microsoft. There are a lot of assembly apps as well. I cannot even find your company valuation on the internet / ai search because of how many assemblies there are.

Crowded names back to back no?

A little crowded for sure! We just switched names and it’ll take a while for us to index on Google and all our profiles to get updated. But in a few months we should be ranking first for ‘Assembly’. And we have the .com so people can navigate to us directly. :slight_smile:

Nice, please let us know how we can help boost you all. This is a great product and more people deserve to know the brand.

I have some consulting firms I sent you guys too. Besides word of mouth, how else can we help? I hate looking up assembly for my portal logjn and not being ranked on the first page.
