I want to have a shared folder , read only , for ALL companies . I need to be able to update its files from time to time, and I don’t want to duplicate it between companies because it will be a nightmare to maintain.
Any idea how to implement it?

As of now, Assembly doesn’t currently support creating a single file channel that’s shared across multiple companies .
The best workaround for your use case is the Helpdesk App. You can create articles with files attached and make them visible to all clients/ companies. Whenever you need to update the files, simply update the article and the changes will be reflected for everyone automatically. Clients can view and download files but can’t upload or remove them, so it works like a read-only shared folder.
If you ever need to share specific files with only certain companies, you can use the Custom Visibility feature to tag specific companies and limit article visibility accordingly.
