Hey guys,
Just requesting these three basic features for the invoices, the ability to save an invoice without having to send it and the ability to add discounts to invoices as a $ amount or as a percentage. Ability to select whether tax applies to a line item or not (A simple taxable column with a checkbox should solve this)

For the tax request, just to clarify you want to be able to tax a particular line item for an invoice and not the total amount of the invoice? Please let me know if this is what you meant. Thanks! 
It would be very helpful to have the discounts. Also I cant find any way to require a deposit for an invoice? Am I missing that somewhere? If not, that would be a very useful tool
Hi @Garrett_Leonard Thanks for reaching out! At the moment, our Billing app doesn’t support discounts or required deposits. I completely understand the use case and have shared your request with our product team as a feature request.
In the meantime, you can use negative line items on one-time invoices (this isn’t supported for subscriptions). To do this, create an invoice for the full amount, then add a negative line item to represent the discount or deposit. This lets you display the full cost of the product or service while charging only the deposit amount.
When it’s time to collect the remaining balance, you can follow the same process by creating a new invoice for the full amount and adding a negative line item for the amount already paid.
