I’m doing research for a client and we need the ability to customize our forms with images and video and I’m looking into the ability to pass a client ID to a Typeform embed, without having to set up an entire app server or using the API. Can I somehow grab the client ID within the content field in my admin console and pass it to the Typeform URL directly?
We don’t currently have this functionality, but URL parameters for embeds are coming on January 28th, 2025! This will allow you to pass custom URL params for cases exactly like this, and you’ll be able to select from provided properties such as client ID, name, email, and even custom fields.
For now, you would need to otherwise set up a custom app with a server to parse the URL params for a client ID as you mentioned. We’ll post the release under the Latest releases section on your homepage in the Copilot admin dashboard
