Hi, was getting ready to plug in our backend with Copilot’s task API, but I noticed there is no option to pull comments. A lot of clients make a comment rather than marking the task complete. Without being able to either pull this via API or disable comments we can’t use the task functionality.

Circling around to this. Is there any way to just get comments turned off for a workspace? Clients default to adding a comment rather than marking a task complete. Impossible to use as we don’t get notifications when clients have ‘completed’ a task as they make a comment like ‘completed’ etc but don’t change the status.

It’s not an option now but we’ll track this request and consider prioritizing it.
One improvement going live in a few days is a much more intuitive experience for clients to mark tasks as done. We’ve noticed that the experience of doing so on the right property panel can be confusing, especially for clients, so we’re going to add a prominent ‘Mark as Done’ button in the top right of every task that I think will help with this.
