As a tax preparer in the US, I am required by the IRS to use KBA (knowledge-based authentication) level security at a minimum to verify e-signatures. However, it does not appear that the contracts app supports this.
I do see that the current e-signature security includes an audit trail, and that’s fine for my client agreements. It just doesn’t meet the IRS requirements for signing the actual tax forms. It would be great to not have to maintain a separate e-signature program just for KBA compliance.
