Videos added to Assembly have issues when trying to watch

Hello Everyone,

I run a service-based agency serving clients internationally for consultation in the AI space and development. This means I have long meetings with clients from 30 minutes to mostly 1 hour+ long meetings, and we recently switched over to Assembly. I reported this issue while in my trial period but thought it was just with me.

The issue is that Assembly takes way too long to actually load up videos, and most people simply click out of it since it buffers for so long. Today, a client of mine mentioned this issue and reached out to me, saying Assembly just buffers and doesn’t play the video. My clients are also not used to seeing this happen because we recently moved on from Notion Client Portals, and videos uploaded there would immediately upload.

I feel this is a small but important refinement that should be looked into because also, when or if videos do end up loading, they load up in low quality.
