hey team!!
loving the updates lately!!
- is there a road map to having the chat on the right side pane have toggle on/off functionality that is baked into persistent memory?
- right now i find that the chat is always in the way taking up upto 50% of my screen whenever I refresh my page within the portal.
- is there a roadmap for a deleted files trashcan so that portal admin can empty trash/restore accidentally detleted files that were deleted by both portal admin or clients?
- i’ve accidently overwritten a prexisting folder when making a new folder with the same name as an existing folder - i’ve lost some data that i cant get back
loving the new changes, nice work marlon and team!

Hi @Dale_R_Wright_II , thank you for the kind words and for taking the time to share this feedback!
Chat Panel Toggle:
This isn’t currently on our roadmap, but I completely understand the frustration. You’d like that once a user closes the panel, that preference persists, so it stays closed on refresh or when navigating to a different client, rather than reopening by default. I’ll pass this along to our Product Team as a feature request.
Deleted files / trash bin:
Thank you for flagging this, and I’m sorry to hear about the data loss. This isn’t on our roadmap currently, but I know this has come up before. So rather than simply logging it again, I’ll make sure it gets properly escalated with the Product Team and will follow up once I have an update. We really appreciate your patience on both of these!
And as always, if you have any other questions or feedback, please let us know. We’re always here to help!
Hi @Dale_R_Wright_II,
I wanted to follow up on the deleted files trashcan feature you mentioned.
I checked in with our Product Team and while a full trash bin isn’t on the roadmap as of now, our engineering team is actively working on implementing soft deleting of files. This would allow our support team to manually recover files if needed.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out. We’re always here to help!
